There is no question that David is well acquainted with the hot spots for birding in SE Arizona. His knowledge and patience ensured a nearly perfect, well planned tour. I was looking forward to the night walks in search of owls and we were successful each time, which was a real thrill for a novice birder. I greatly appreciated the individual attention I received. David never tired of my questions, and readily identified the 175 species we encountered. I highly recommend an Avian Center tour.

My tour to Veracruz with David was well organized and contained a nice selection of different birding sites that ranged from the tropical jungle on the coast to the cloud forest more inland. David really has a fine eye and, as a consequence, I saw much more than had I been on a self-coordinated trip. David's good relationship with the local guides made it possible to fully experience the locale and optimize the birding. My time and money were well spent on this birding adventure south of the border.

What a thrill it was to see so many eagles and to feel more confident identifying hawks. Genevieve said it was the best led trip she had ever been on- that's about 50 years of bird watching!
